Beginning at the age of 17, Melvin 'Doc' Eaker bought his first combine and so began his career as a Custom Harvester. He started going north from his then home in Uvalde, TX in 1971. This spring marks his 54th year 'on the trail'. Doc was inducted into the USCHI Hall of Fame in 2000. | Our Harvest Route
His fall harvest usually centers from his current home base in Brownfield, TX where he relocated to in 2000. Starting in central Texas, Doc also makes stops in:

Doc likes running Case Combines (two 2008 2588's) and has the prerequisite support equipment and an experienced crew of 5. His wife Elaine is the 'Chief Cook and bottle washer'. |
